For this reason, more and more professionals in the sector are asking themselves how to measure CO\u2082 emissions in transport and establish measures to reduce them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are the steps to follow in order to be able to measure CO\u2082 emissions in transportation within the logistics sector:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Calculating the carbon footprint<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first step in calculating carbon emissions is to identify the specific activities that generate the carbon footprint. However, there are also alternatives that are less polluting than gasoline, such as natural gas or biodiesel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use emission tracking technology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, the amount of emissions generated by the transport vehicle fleet must continue to be monitored if the main objective is to reduce them.
