Case study

Taisa Logistics

Taisa Logistics is an integrated logistics operator with more than 50 years of experience, with presence in Spain and Europe. It offers customized logistics solutions, supported by innovation and digitization of processes, as well as a strong commitment to sustainability.

The Challenge

Taisa's logistics process presented significant challenges that affected its efficiency and profitability. Load planning was costly and time-consuming, while the OTM system required constant configuration and technical support, limiting the planners' autonomy. In addition, the system lacked centralized tariff and data management, hindering visibility and control over the operation.

In short, Taisa Logistics was looking for a solution that, among other functionalities, would allow it to:

  • Reduce optimization time and costs by automating the routing process.
  • Increase operational efficiency by integrating into one tool tariff management and fleet monitoring.
  • Decrease dependence on IT support by allowing planners to operate autonomously with a user-friendly system.
  • Optimize cargo capacity and transport routes to improve profitability and reduce the environmental impact of your logistics operations.
  • Ensure the efficient and timely fulfillment of deliveries committed to in tender and bidding agreements with suppliers.

Project year: 2022

Modules: Load optimization + ERP integration

Vehicles: 263 veicoli (tra flotta propria e in subappalto)

Type of distribution: primary and secondary transportation

"At TAISA, we were looking for a technological change that would allow us to evolve in the optimization of truck loading and the creation of routes for primary and secondary transport. Our goal was to reduce costs and be more sustainable, minimizing kilometers traveled and empty runs. We relied on Hedyla for their experience in capillary transport, which allowed us to take advantage of their real-time recalculation technology for capillary routes. Thanks to their expertise, we have achieved significant optimization in our logistics operations."
