Hedyla is a software company dedicated to optimize logistic processes of medium and large-sized companies through Artificial Intelligence.
How was Hedyla born?
Hedyla was founded in mid-2019 by three engineers: Andreu Araque, Guillem Muñoz and Ismael Rodríguez.
Logistics industry is complex and it is growing really fast, but current software systems are far from being optimal.
Hedyla was created to complement and extend current systems adding intelligence to specific key points of the logistic supply chain.
Why "Hedyla"?
Hedyla’s name is inspired from Austrian-American actress, inventor and film producer Hedy Lamarr.
As a natural beauty seen widely on the big screen films like Samson and Delilah and White Cargo, society has long ignored her inventive genius.
As an inventor and scientist, Lamarr pioneered the technology that would one day form the basis for today’s WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth communication systems. A good summary of her life can be found here.
